چکیده
Infectious diseases are one of the leading causes morbidity and mortality worldwide, antibacterial resistance exacerbates situation. So this study aimed to investigate genes responsible for folate inhibitor pathway antagonists outer membrane protein among gentamicin-resistant K.pneumoniae isolates. The results showed that out 481 specimens, 270 (56.13%) bacterial growth versus 211 (43.87%) no growth. According vitek-2 system recorded 94 isolates as K. pneumoniae . Data demonstrated 42/94 (44.68%) were resistant gentamicin compared with 24/94(25.53%) 28/94(29.78%) intermediate sensitive antibiotic respectively. Results susceptibility highest was piperacillin 41/42 (97.7%). while netilmycin 16/42 (38%) had least resistance. PCR amplification dfr-B, Dfr-G Dfr-K 13/42 (30.9%), 17/42 (40.4%) 37/42 (88.0%)) While Dfr-A did not detect. Also 39 (92.8%) 32 (76.1%) Ompk35 Ompk36

Molecular Investigation of Outer Membrane Channel Genes Among Multidrug Resistance Clinical Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Isolates
Background: Multidrug resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MDRPA) is most important issue in healthcare setting. It can secrete many virulence effector proteins via its secretion system type (T1SS-T6SS). They are using them as conductor for delivering the effector proteins outside to begins harmful effect on host cell increasing pathogenicity, competition against other microorganism and nutrient ...

This descriptive study was accomplished on 83 K. pneumoniae strains isolated from two hospitals in Tehran, Iran. Antibiotic susceptibility tests were performed by disc diffusion and broth microdilution methods. ESBLs, MBL, Amp-C, and KPC producing strains were detected by phenotypic confirmatory test, combination disk diffusion test (CDDT), Amp-C detection kit, and modified Hodge test, respecti...
متن کاملGenetic diversity of Staphylocoagulase genes (Coa) among methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates at clinical specimens of blood and urinary infections
Background: Staphylococcus aureus is a common pathogen in human that can be the cause of a wide range of infectious diseases including bacteremia, pneumonia, cellulitis, and osteomyelitis and skin and soft tissue infections. The coagulase enzyme is one of the most important virulence factors of this bacterium. The polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) Coa...
متن کاملRole of porins in outer membrane permeability.
It is now well recognized that the outer membranes of gram-negative bacteria serve as molecular sieves which permit the passage of small hydrophilic molecules of sizes below a given cutoff, i.e., the exclusion limit (21, 27). This sieving property, which permits uptake of small substrate molecules but excludes potentially harmful enzymes and other large hydrophilic molecules, is due to a class ...

Background & Objectives: Methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the most important pathogens that causes several nosocomial and community infections. Adhesion to surfaces and biofilm formation is considered main step in staphylococcal infection. The aims of this study were to determine presence oficaABCD genes and relation to the biofilm formation in of...
